Our first photo session with David Max was just great. We found him online and called because we liked his portfolio, choosing him after interviewing 4 photographers to shoot Grandma's 75th Bday with her 3 childrens' families (save yourself the time interviewing, just call David!). David proposed a great location for a beach shoot at sunset, timed everything perfectly so that the three families showed up at just the right time with the right clothes. We goofed around on the beach while David choreographed a rapid-fire 30-minute shoot, and we ended up with a bunch of great photo groupings mixing and matching the families, all beautifully shot. We will see you next time David!

"After reviewing many photographic portfolios, we selected David Max Steinberg to shoot our daughter's wedding that occurred on a private yacht in San Diego Bay. The unusual venue required a skilled photographer who could handle working on a moving platform required at sea. We also decided that journalistic photography was a must for the representation of this important day. We asked Mr. Steinberg to photograph the groom and his attendants, who would be the boat handlers, as they walked down a traffic filled street on the way to the yacht club. He then came to the hotel to photograph the bride and family members, and was at the dock before the bride arrived to the still hours of the early morning. David photographed the wedding ceremony on the stern of the yacht with the beautiful San Diego skyline as a backdrop. When the yacht docked, David was able to photograph the bagpipers, and the band as the wedding party disembarked to be greeted by a very large party of well wishers. He handled the crowd and the intricacies of the day with aplomb, and did it so discreetly that that most guests didn't know they were being photographed, or completely enjoyed the casual nature of his approach. One guest was heard to say of David: "That is the man who has worked the hardest today." Our planning meetings were professional and pleasurable. David Max Steinberg demonstrated a depth of talent, not just in the photo arts but also in his interactions with people. That is the quality that allows him to perform in many different photographic styles for purposes that range from commercial to artistic, and that include a myriad of subjects. Not only was the service David provide superb, the product is artistic and of the highest quality. We are happy to recommend David Max Steinberg as an able commercial photographer.
