Photography, by definition, is drawing with light, but when I look at a photograph I don’t think of it as just an illustration, but rather, a story. A photograph is truly a thousand word narrative about one single moment in time. Parts of that moment that would normally be lost become a short story of their own. All of these individual stories come together to create a photographic narrative. They can be works of fiction, non-fiction, or sometimes, just rhetoric. I consider myself not just a photographer, but also an author; I create narratives out of light
