Don't under estimate the cost of a DJ. Do you know the old saying "you get what you pay for"? When shopping for a DJ there are a few very important factors to consider. 1. Make sure you have a "good feeling" about the DJ you are considering hiring. Some companies will send a stranger to MC your event. I personally wouldn't want a stranger being in charge! 2. Average price for 4 hr. of service should start at $700.00. If you can't afford to spend that amount on a DJ consider downsizing your reception. Meaning, leave out the party and just have cake and coffee then go out to a dance club.
