This guy (the owner) was friendly until the night of the our party. The party was almost perfect until the security guys said that the owner insisted that we had to end the party 45 mins. before the time. I told him no because we paid for the full 4 hours. I asked to speak to the owner he was very upset stating, "No the party is over now". I said well I will need a refund. He said just be out at the time set. This was a Saturday night. So we cleaned and wiped everything down. The owner said don't worry about the garbage there will be a guy to collect all of it through out the time of the party. He did come in and out collecting garbage which we had put in trash bags. The security guys were also drinking, drinks which they asked us for. After cleaning everything I called on Monday asking when could I come to pick up my deposit (it was Monday because he was not going to be back in the building until then) and that someone else was going to rent the place that Sunday. When we were leaving at 1 a.m. that Sunday morning some band/group were coming in. So when I called Monday that's when the owner said oh there will not be a deposit refund. I ask and why not, his words were "When you were caring the garbage out you all wasted it on the stairs and in the elevator and the damages are far more than the deposit fee". I said we didn't have any food left just cake in the box that we brought it in and alcohol bottles that were closed. I also told him remember the guy that you asked to carry the garbage out was the only person who took it downstairs or where ever he was suppose to take it. He then said well there are holes in the wall and lots of paint knocked of the walls where the tables were. He also said I have videos in the building. So I asked ok since you claimed we did this could I please come see the damage he said it will have to be later on today I have people coming in. Later that day I went to see the so called damages. The stairs which were dark brown and carpeted had small black tar like substance on about five of the steps. They were about two or three feet from the elevator which also had the exact same substance in front of it but there were about ten drops it all that looked like it had been there for some years. We then went upstairs to the party area and I seen a hole that was behind a curtain that we had no way of putting there for the simple fact of not having anything that strong or perfectly round to damage the wall. And the paint of the wall were sooo small that you had to get really close to see it and the missing paint was not on the same level of the wall where the tables were that we were using. He complained about the floor having scrape marks on them. They were wood floors and the only way those couple of deep scrapes could have gotten there were from the tables and barstools being moved but his crew were the ones who arranged them both. I then asked to see the video he said well you will have to come back another time I have other guest coming in, in a few minutes. I called back there was no answer. The deposit was either $250 or $300. I told him if you really need the money I could have rented the place a couple of hours longer. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. If you chose to rent it beware.

This is the best party venue in Dallas by far! I held my husbands 31st birthday party here & all of our guests were VERY impressed with everything! The venue is like having your own club/bar all to yourself. The owner was amazing....he was in the building all night in case we needed anything & continued to pop in just to check on us. I would recommend this location to anyone. Just make sure that you give your guests good directions - the building can be easy to miss!!

The state that you get 2,700 sq feet buy that is not true. They consider the stairway part of the party room along with a hall outside of the room. You party is trully only comfortable for about 80 people if that, unless you want to be squeezed in like sardines.
