"Be proactive in your Music request"

For the most part Dingo Entertainment delivered what they advertised. Having the dis-advantage of being 400 miles away and doing everything by email or phone caused my experience to be not as satisfying as I had hoped. I used this company for a 30 yr class reunion (1980). I was told and reassured that with a song list of over 200,000 songs they could support our musical needs. I asked for a sample playlist of what they would play and was told that was not possible and not usually provided. I was asked to provide special requests and that is where I went wrong. After talking and emails I was feeling they could support “on the fly” requests. That did not happen. During the evening several people asked for requests and from about 8 request, 2 were played and the other 6 where not in the 200,000 collection. I personally requested REO Speedwagon “Keep on loving you”, a #1 in fall of 1980 and nothing. The DJ had only 1 REO song he could play, from the 1990’s. I asked for Little River Band and not a single song in collection. They did play a request for group Exile. Other classmates requested a song from group Boston and Linda Ronstadt. Nothing could be honored. Also, it was 30 plus minutes before the dj stopped play line dances and Disco, per my request to play a couple of slow songs. 20 minutes later I had to ask him to take it back up because no one was dancing anymore. So just be more proactive and make sure you take this company into your own hands to ensure you get the songs and selections you desire.
