I went to see Michael Cate to possibly book and engagement session. We had already booked my wedding and bridal session elsewhere. I thought it would be nice to see someone else's work. I choose to visit him due to his location (not his reviews since there were basically none). His "studio" is out of his living room. His house smelled back and you could see the dishes in the kitchen while walking through, very unprofessional. After he found out we booked the wedding through someone else he told us we should go back to her. Basically, if he couldn't have the whole thing he wouldn't shoot us for engagement. Obviously, his agenda was to only book people if he gets to do the wedding too. Very rude and dismissive. A complete waste of time. I would never go to see him! His pictures and website are not even that nice. GO with someone like Emily Lockard (amazing and well worth the money)!
