The Chapel also offers extremely beautiful and spacious bride and groom dressing rooms, full service bars available on both floors, and two intimate outer deck/patio areas. The Grand Hall may also be used as an alternate ceremony location. Their upscale in-house coffee shop offers a complete line of coffees, lattes, juices and sodas! My daughter and son-in-law got married 2 weeks ago at the Grand Holiday Ballroom and it was wonderful- the food, the service, the extra touches and all their help and suggestions over the year of planning was great. We are all so glad we choose this venue. Family and friends had a great time and we have received nothing but good remarks about the entire wedding evening. Thanks to all the Staff-you did a great job!

My daughter had her wedding here last Sunday and it was very beautiful and worked out really well. Every one in the family were so well pleased we are thinking of holding future events there. Thank you again for a very wonderful time. My daughter was very pleased, it was everything she hoped it would be. Thank you very much for your services.

We had a very happy day. The care and planning from the people who work at the ballroom made us and our guests feel so special. The building was so elegant and inviting that no one wanted to leave. The food was great and the party,music and special lighting set the mood. Our day was enjoyed with the ballroom taking care of all the little details. Thank you so much, it shows how much pride you take in making our wedding so unforgettable and easy.

My wife and I got married and had our reception at the GHB last August. The facility is beautiful, but we had serious problems with the service that we did not expect from a venue in that price range. After the wedding I sent a letter to the manager detailing the many problems we had, I hope they will address them if they plan to continue offering wedding and reception services. Problems included: Grossly insufficient air conditioning (temps high 80s during entire event), venue refused to notify us as they made changes to our contract, trusting that we would continue to use their facility since we had already paid a deposit (without notification they changed the caterer, menus, DJ, method of officiant arrangement, wanted to charge for meetings to discuss the event, facility access prior to the event, and refusal to honor the drink package in the contract), equipment shortages that seriously affected the wedding, such as lack of a clip-on microphone, no cable to attach a music device to the stereo system, no dependable microphone for the master of ceremonies to make announcements, etc., because the facility provided no employees to represent the venue at the rehearsal, a number of communication errors resulted in the staff dimming the lights without consulting the photographers, the bartenders unable to explain the drink policy, no lights on the patio, and servers under-dressed for a cocktail attire event (several wore t-shirts, cargo shorts, and white athletic shoes). Most important was the fact that some representatives of the venue truly seemed to regard the bride as an unavoidable inconvenience in their revenue stream, and not as the reason for the event, an impression given when the venue could not get her name right after repeated corrections and blossoming from there with comments marginalizing her concerns. The facility has great potential, but for now I advise my friends to seek a wedding venue elsewhere. If money is no object, and you are willing to pay full-service price for venue-only service, the beauty of the chapel may be worth a look.

To everyone at the Grand Holiday Ballroom-- We have just returned from a week of R&R following Sarah and Chris' wedding and wanted to drop you a line to tell you how happy we were with everything at the Ballroom. You have an extraordinary staff! A special thank you goes to Vickie for her management the day of the wedding. There wasn't anything that was overlooked or could have been done better the entire day. She has a caring way about her that is very reassuring on a day that can be a little stressful. Thanks for helping to make this such a special experience for the kids as well as our entire family. So many of our guests had glowing compliments about the setting, the food and the service. Your venue along with the excellent service you provide is a wonderful asset to the Olympia community.
