We rented the Epiphany Celebrations and Entertaining for a business launch event. It was the perfect facility for an intimate gathering. It felt like an extension to my living room. The service was excellent and the facility featured all of the amenities to make an event successful. There were so many compliments about the beautiful setting and the ambiance of the facility. It was an awesome choice.

I loved everything about the place especially since it was booked at the last minute. I was a little nervous since I booked the hall 3 weeks prior to my wedding. Everything went smoothly and the decor was lovely. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The only complaint I had was that once my guest and I finished eating, the dishes remained on the tables. There was no one to pick them up or anywhere to put them once we were done with out meal. Other than that, I would definitely recommend Epiphany to others.

I've always hoped to achieve something magical in any event i produce. It happen at the Epiphany Celebrations and Entertaining. Lana Flakes presented me the contract and abide every step until the end of the celebration; her staff performed above and beyond expectation. My confidence level in her was so high; once i knew that she was in charge. The service i received from Mrs. Flakes was flawless. Eric and I have heard endless compliments on the entire venue from the front door too the back inside and out. In a world of inconsistency, one person who remains constant and true is you! It was truly a gratifying experience to work with someone who delivers on her promises. I cannot think of one thing I would change on your end, not a single thing. Thanks to Lana Flakes and her fine staff for making Eric's Birthday Celebration a spectacular event.

Epiphany was the perfect spot to host my very good friend's baby shower. I don't have a bad thing to say. All of our requests were carried out just as we asked as well as we given ideas that we hadn't thought of. I loved the fact that there was a host on sight the entire event who was available to assist us as need throughout the the evening. Epiphany, its owner and staff are fabulous!

I've actually used this venue twice this year for business events. While the venue is definitely elegant enough to host an intimate wedding, tea or social affair, it served well as a business meeting location. Members of my organization (Houston Black Professionals) were wowed by the elegance of the building as well as the level of service. Owner Lana Flakes was extremely receptive and helpful. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to add a little "class" to their event!

I booked this place to host my dad's 70th birthday party and it was a sheer nightmare. 1) Plumbing was not working properly, (2) air condition was not working properly, (3) a foul odor filled the air, (4) kitchen area was not clean and floor was covered in insects, (5) trash was not emptied from previous events, not to mention the flies Upon arrival the venue was not ready. (1) Tables were not set, (2) the owner was doing a tour of the venue during the time I was alloted to decorate, (3) workers did not seem to know the layout, (4) the owner did not seem concerned with the starting time of my event or the time I needed to decorate (5) the workers arrived and (6) flies were swarming throughout the evening. I contacted Lana Flakes (owner) the day after my event (Sunday, June 21) and expressed my disappointment in her services and the issues I mentioned above. Lana agreed that her workers were late which caused me to have less time to decorate. Lana agreed to refund half of the venue rental fee and stated the money would be mailed 2 to 3 weeks. She did not state what form of payment the refund would be disbursed. I received the refund on Jul 15th in the form of a debit card. I paid the total rental fee in cash and would have liked to receive a refund in either a cashier check, money order or cash. I contacted Lana on Jul. 16 via email and telephone (left a message) informing her I did not want the debit card and asked that she redistribute the funds via cashier check, money order or cash. Lana did not return my call. I contacted her again on Jul 22nd. In speaking with Lana I explained that the debit card was not a preferred form of payment because I wanted to deposit the funds back into my account. Ms. Lana rudely explained that was her only form of refund and she will not entertain the conversation anymore. I then asked her if she thought it was fair that I paid cash and she gave me a gift card ( that I cannot deposit into my account) She hung up! I am writing to file a complain about the horrible services I received from Epiphany Celebrations & Entertainment but also to acknowledge the owner has no respect for clients and I hope no one else will have to go through what I went through. I do not recommend this place to anyone!
