Two unique facilities; the Dove House for groups of 10-175+ and the Gatehouse for groups of 100-500+. Prices range from $500-$4600 and include: private use of facility with expansive grounds, tables, chairs, plates, flatware, water glasses, table & napkin linens, centerpieces, customized set up, an on-site manager the day of the event and unlimited event planning. Clients have the ability to hire any caterer or bring in their own food. Clients also have the ability to bring in their own liquor!

WHAT CAN I SAY, I WAS A GUEST AT A WEDDING THERE AND I FELT BAD FOR THE BRIDES FAMILY. THEY WORKED HARD AT GETTING IN ALL THE DETAILS AND IF THE VENDOR DOESN'T PERFORM THE DETAILS THEN YOU HAVE A VERY AVERAGE OR LESS THEN AVERAGE WEDDING, AND THEY DID. I KNOW IT COST THEM A BUNDLE AND FOR THE SAME MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE THE WHOLE THING MIGHT HAVE COME OFF AS THEY WANTED. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IT TO MY FRIENDS.

I booked both the Dove House and Gatehouse for my corporate holiday party and for my wedding. I have used hotels in the past and found them to be very cold and extremely expensive and not very flexible. Lionsgate is the total opposite. They are a great value and allowed me to bring in my own liquor and catering and were accommodating to every request I had. They also have several overnight suites I used for myself and my family. Each event was handled professionally and came off without a hitch. I plan on booking them again for my next event and recommend them to my colleagues.

The Gatehouse at Lionsgate Center surpassed my dreams. The place and the people are wonderful and easy to work with. I dealt with Paige and Leanne most of the time and love them both! Their information is clear and informative. The Gatehouse is beautiful. The gardens are amazing. The caterer, baker, DJ, photographer and florist they booked for me were the best! I married the man of my dreams and had a party to match - thank you.

My wedding at the Dove House was amazing! Leanne was my site manager and she rocked it! There were several last minute issues (my oversight, not hers/theirs) and Leanne was all over it and made everything run super smoothly. My guests are still talking about how fun it was.

I booked the Gatehouse for my wedding ceremony and reception and couldn't have been happier - it was the best place! Everything was exactly like we wanted it. If you are looking for a reception location, check them out, you will be extremely happy!!! I am!!!

I think I am a pretty picky person and very into all of the details and felt it would be very difficult to find a location for my wedding who could meet my expectations, however, I found that place at the Dove House! They have obviously been doing this for many years and have everything down to a science. The Dove House is stunningly beautiful with giant trees, lawns, gardens, etc. Their service is excellent and they were willing to comply to my every wish and even gave me some suggestions I never would have thought of. I can't say enough good things about them, I wish I could do it all again - maybe I will for my anniversary.

I have booked both the Dove House and Gatehouse for my personal events including my vow renewal, birthday parties and my husband's retirement party. Each and every time they have outdone themselves and surpassed my every expectation. Their staff are a joy to work with and extremely professional. Their buildings and grounds are simply stunning. I would recommend them to everyone who is looking for a venue. Everyone is so happy and willing to help with the littlest details. Their follow through is also flawless, even the smallest detail that I mentioned at our planning meeting was taking care of - amazing! I look forward to booking them again and again for many years to come!

I did a lot of looking around and found that the Lionsgate Center was not only the most beautiful and well kept facility but their staff was by far the most friendly, caring and professional of anyone! It made my decision to book them very easy. I also booked their vendor package where they matched me with the best vendors to fit my style and budget, this too was an easy decision as I got everything I could have hoped for and all within my budget. The day of the wedding was perfect (and I don't use that word lightly). Their site manager took care of many things that weren't even her job and she did it happily. My vendors were wonderful, yummy food, beautiful cake, stunning flowers, wonderful photographer, etc. All of my guests kept saying how it was the best wedding they had ever been to and asked me how I could have planned it so perfectly. I had to answer honestly and say that all the staff at the Lionsgate Center did the hard part and left only the fun stuff to me. I strongly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or any other event for that matter! Each and every person I worked with, Amy, Leanne, Paige and Marie, were fun and wonderful!!!

My BIG COMPLAINT is that they are always telling you, "don't worry about it, we take care of this or that" whatever it is you are asking, their response is, "don't worry we take care of that." They do not!! Please be advised no matter how much they tell you they will do whatever-pay attention to all the details yourself. They make you feel stupid for being concerned about all these details and yet at our wedding not one thing was carried out as we had asked or planned. We had no wedding cake, the tables were set-up incorrectly - resulting in Grandparents being sat in the back by a door freezing all night and not seeing a thing, my wedding dress train was a mess before I got to the alter even though she (the on-site manager) was to fluff it prior to walking down the aisle. Plus, bar mixing condiments they were to provide were not available to guests that night. We also went with their vendor package which I would NEVER do again and would not recommend. The only person/company that worked out was our caterer. My wedding pictures are so bad I can't bring myself to order an album and cry of sadness not joy when looking at them. The photographer we were suppose to have was switched to a horrible photographer with little experience. The cake lady they recommended FORGOT to make our cake -NO cake at my wedding and no fill in cake. Flower were falling apart before the ceremony began. Plus, everything felt very rushed. It was all awful. If I had extra money laying around I would like re-do. Overall, the location was beautiful, but the vendors were awful.

I know everyone thinks that only disgruntled people write reviews but hey, what's the harm in reading them? They are very interested in you before you lay your money down and true enough they are really great at answering any and all your questions through out the many mos. of planning. They respond quickly if you have to leave a message. The BIG COMPLAINT is that they are always telling you, "don't worry about it, we take care of this or that" what ever it is you are asking, their pat response is, don't worry we take care of that. They make you feel stupid for being concerned about all these details and yet at our wedding not one thing was carried out as I had asked or planned. Do your own last call or your guests will have to leave in an unprecedented hurry making you feel like the worst host! The bar could not manage our crowd of 100 and we only served 3 different drinks and every time I went to the bar NO ONE was standing behind the bar. To be fair, this was about 1 hr. into the event and this was at least twice I looked up and saw no one! Right after the ceremony they needed at least 2 people to bar tend and it was ridiculous, our quests couldn't get a first drink in a timely manner. By the way, the wedding didn't start on time either and I had asked that a certain song be played for the guests as they were being seated, well, to be technical I MEANT mingling so the music I wanted to be played literally lasted 2 minutes while the quests took their seats. You just have to be stupid anal with these people because it won't come off as you think unless you put in writing EXACTLY what you are envisioning. They will also refer to the fact that no body else but you cares about certain things??? The floor was filthy and our daughters wedding gown looked absolutely horrible just after walking down the aisle inside the gatehouse. This isn't a very long walk and her train wasn't straightened right after a turn so I had to do it when she got to the altar, at that time I was so shocked to see how dirty it was. You would think they could afford to actually wash the floor right before an event, you certainly pay enough. The other complaint I have is that we went with the vendor package, I actually don't know how I feel about this. YOU NEVER KNOW the amount any of the vendors actually get so how do you know if Lionsgate doesn't keep a portion, and my feeling is, they do! The good thing, I learned a lot. Won't happen that way again.
