"Not everything they promise to be."

This planner was okay but not at all what the description says. Unlimited hours of planning: sure they don't charge per meeting but they handle a lot of weddings at once so you only get a 30 to 60 minute meeting every few months until about 2 weeks before the wedding. And there were definitely no vendor discounts. We got recommendations on vendors like limo, hair, linens ... but we paid the same price as we would have if we had found the vendors on our own. I didn't see any discounts by going through CCS. Took a lot of the stress away but also overlooked quite a few details.

"Promise a lot but see little"

CCS Events was very good leading up to my event. Colleen answered my emails within a few hours of my sending it most of the time. She was always helpful and punctual for our meetings. She did my sister's wedding as well and her wedding was excellent, which is why we used her for my wedding. However on my wedding day, I had one of her assistants running my event. If I had to rate her instead of Colleen I would have marked disaster for all of the above. She was on her laptop during my event. She was missing during parts of my event. She was also rude and made a mistake that she refused to fix then called Colleen to tell her my husband was rude to her. Since the event Colleen has been slightly less helpful and has been trying to put the blame back on my husband and me. My advice is don't hire this company unless Colleen will be present at your event.
