I booked Grandeur Affaires "Nibbles" as the baker, caterer and florist for my wedding under the impression that I would get a "discount" for using her for all three services. The reason I choose Emeline was because of the beautiful, professional presentation of her shop. There were show cakes displayed everywhere and pictures of flowers and weddings. It looked like a very classy, elegant place where I could receive all three services of a baker, caterer, and florist. However, the bouquet I received for my bridal shoot was a full of old bruised roses. I should have known then to switch services but the date was so close I couldn't switch and I had already paid a 500 deposit. I told her to be at the church at 3:00 pm and she didn't arrive until nearly 5 w/the flowers which pushed us into taking pictures while guests were arriving. The food was very bland. And my cake, which was originally quoted at 375 ending up costing 800! She kept raising the price saying that the original quote didn't include flowers, or that she was referring to a circular cake not a square cake, or she had quoted a 3 tier not a 4 tier cake, and the filling is extra etc. A simple white cake with flowers in between the tiers cost 800!! She is highly over priced for the quality of service she provides.
