I'm sorry to hear that someone has had a bad taste put into their experience with Oh Heavens Cheesecakes. I know that the owners would have made it right if something had been said, instead of not giving them a second chance. I for one have had nothing but adoration for the product they provide at such a minimal cost! I recently had a new flavor of theirs called a "Biscochito Cinnamon" square. It is yummy! I'm not sure about the texture that the previous person experienced, but all of their cheesecakes have a smooth and creamy texture, and not a hard cakey and heavy texture. I would HIGHLY recommend Oh Heavens Cheesecakes for ANY cheesecake they produce.

I discovered "Oh Heaven Cheesecakes" while attending a bead class at the Poppy Field Bead Co., which occupies space in the same building as "Oh Heaven." I met Mark, the owner, and his wife at the walkup window where they serve cheesecake "by the square". I was delighted to be able to buy a "6-pack" sampler of daily flavor offerings. My husband loves "Oh Heaven Cheesecake" now and won't eat anything else. !

I heard rants and raves about Oh Heavens on the local radio and set out to find this place. Found the address on the web, and headed there on Jefferson off Menaul. The walk up order window should've been my first clue but I argued with myself "this could the one don't judge." So I ordered a resurrection Chocolate Square an Oreo Square a plain NY and a Creme Brulee. Nothing was either right or good about any of them. They all tasted like jello no bake. The "Plain" NY had an overbearing amaretto flavor. The Creme Brulee was Caramel slopped over a lemon flavored cheesecake. Eww caramel does not go with lemon. And the square were the equivalent of dimestore junkfood cakes. I wouldn't reccomend, matter of fact tell all your friends.
