Our exquisite building sits on 25 acres of parking, landscaping and undeveloped forests. Our main ballroom is one of the largest in the area and can accommodate over 800 guests. As the Banquet Director for our church, I booked the main Banquet Hall at “The Hamilton Manor “for our event. I believe that The Manor fell short in a number of ways. An inordinate amount of time had passed before the entrees were brought out, and when they finally made an appearance, the food, with very few exceptions, was cold. To the defense of the chef, the chicken and the beef dishes were presented well and were both tasty and tender. Also, according to the contract, there was to be bottled water and assorted sodas along with regular and decaffeinated coffee and herbal teas. We were not served the assorted sodas. I mentioned this to one of the servers and she said she had to check with someone. Late into the night, just a few of the tables received one pitcher of soda. One pitcher of water was at each table. Some tables had more than 8 people and one pitcher didn’t suffice especially since that was all they had to drink. In addition I had requested a cake that was supposed to be one layer vanilla and one layer chocolate; instead what I received was an all vanilla cake. I have organized more banquets than I can remember and I was never served a cold meal. This was entirely unsatisfactory. Even though the banquet hall is beautiful, in my opinion, the Manor’s shortfalls, unless addressed, will disqualify it from serious consideration as a place for our church to hold another event. I might also mention that there was a problem with the PA system because our speakers voices were coming out garbled. When I contacted the Manor about all of the problems, I was told that the staff had forgotten to turn on the food warmers. As to the rest of the problems, their only defense was to say that they were ironing out the problems. This was little consolation to all of the guests that paid $36.00 (including gratuity) for a “lunch portion” that was cold. To this date, November 2, 2009, I have not received satisfaction.

Had a surprise birthday party at the hamilton manor for my husband in the Sapphire Room. The staff was very professional and the food was great. Erin helped with all of the arrangements and made sure everything was just right. Thank you for a great time.

I had a very nice time at the Hamilton Manor for a retirement party. I was searching to find out some more information about the facility and stumbled upon this review site. I don't usually write about places but this place is worth the trip. The place is stunning, very old world, classy and new. The staff was very friendly and the owners were also very nice. ( Had a chance to meet Jerry ) The food was better than any hall I have been too.

I just booked The Hamilton Manor for my wedding in August 2010 and I've had the pleasure of dealing with Melissa who is the banquet coordinator and has fabolous ideas for wedding receptions. Me and my fiance are looking forward to having our big here!! The place is gorgeous!! And so far I have no complains!! I'll keep you guys in the loupe if i have any issues but I doubt that I will since I've been given everything that I have asked for so far!! Melissa ROCKS!!

I recently attended a wedding there. Food was great and our server was outstanding, Hope to go again soon. I heard there is a steakhouse restaurant there that is really good too. Great night overall.

Recently I attended an event at the Hamilton Manor and the food ran out. I left the event hungry. The little food that was available was almost inedible. The owners did not make the guests feel welcome and were quite arrogant.

Attended a fund raiser for Eden at the Hamilton Manor and it was wonderful. The facility is first class and the food was terrific. The facility has a magnificent grand ballroom which was transformed into a nyc backdrop with casino tables throughout. Has a mezzanine overlooking the ballroom elegantly decorated. I think The Hamilton Manor will become a destination for many affairs to come.

I booked my wedding here while facility was still under construction. This is prettier than any place I have ever been. The staff was fantastic ( family run ) very friendly and wanted everything to be perfect and it was. Had my cocktail reception in the gallery overlooking the ballroom. All of my guests were very impressed with the food and presentation. The reception was even better!! Everything was great from the salad , pasta and entree. I can't wait to attend another affair at the Hamilton Manor to bring back memories of my dream wedding. Thank you for everything Melissa. Angeline

Hamilton Manor is a brand-new event space in Hamilton, NJ. I attended an event there and was shocked at the food. The buffets ran out of food. The food was not good at all and was served luke-warm to cold. In fact, a chicken dish was served and was frozen in the middle. It is a shame because it is beautiful. Poor management of this space and a Grand Ballroom with lovely hardwood floors throughout made for a sound nightmare. You also have to consider that the nightclub on the lower level is open during the affair so the music can be heard and felt during the event. I'm sure it will get plenty of initial bookings, but I am extremely doubtful that they will get any repeat business.
