This place and the staff was awesome. We actually got alot of attention and service for our money. For a wedding and reception including fullsetup, fully decorated place, great food, it was under $2000. Our actual budget was $5000 and we had money left to put down on a new home. This was great!!! I would recommend this place to anyone who is budget concience and lazy like me!!!

Unbelievable that the merchant is allowed to leave unsubstatiated responses to legitimate complaints about a service provider. It is totally detrimental to the whole review process to allow any responses from the merchant that are only intended to discredit and not actually respond to actual issues and complaints from a customer. Obviously anything I may have to say about our experience will only be met with diversionary type remarks and overblown responses. I left the review to assist others in making educated choices and having the merchant responding in such an inaccurate way only negates this process. I truly expected a much more mature response than this, believe me, I thought Alesia truly had our best interests at heart, sorrowful as I am to say, I was wrong. They didn't ruin our day, and my husband and I had a very blessed wedding day, nothing the staff/owner did helped to make that happen or changes that in any way - As a business they will soon realize that the "customer" must come first, that is a rule not even they can change, no matter what they try to do or say to divert or change the truth.

We are not using this review process to discredit you like you have tried to discredit us on every Wedding website you can find!!! We fulfilled your request to the best of our ability and we still have be accused of not jumping to your every request and even now you want to us to bendover. You very well may need to throughly examine your own maturity level. We offer a great service to our customers and they are First because it is about them! We are not slaves and under a Dictatorship!!! The customer is not always right!!! Kathy! What are we suppose to say at this point? That you are correct! Absolutely not!!!! The idea of a one stop no stress wedding venue is a good one, but in the case of "Le Chapel" it is only an idea in the mind of the proprietor. The adts are very misleading and implies that you only have to be there on time and all will be taken care of. We met the "wedding coordinator" (the owner) when we first visited the site and gave her a deposit. There wasn't any where to sit down with her to discuss details until she searched around and found a folding table - Weddings are full of details and standing the entire time didn't appeal to us. It was that same feeling of being rushed each time we were at the venue- We never saw her again until the wedding and that was four months later - Each time we went to the site, including the rehearsal, she didn’t show up, only the caterer! (who is her mother) And the caterer didn't seem to know any of the details we had discussed with the coordinator. We asked about the coordinator each time and was told she was at work or school – We also learned at the very last minute, and only by chance because they weren't telling us, that we would have to dress in the men's and women's bathrooms because they no longer had a dressing room available. The dining tables weren't set properly as we had discussed, they didn’t put out all of our favors, the unity candles weren't lit, we stopped in the middle of the ceremony to find a lighter to light them! We had paid for the room for 4 hours and their people started cleaning up thirty minutes before our time was up! making our guests feel like they had to leave. - Even on the day of the wedding the coordinator was there for a few minutes only and then left. The package that we bought included about 4 - 5 printed photos but when asked about the photographer's costs beyond the package photos, we were quoted a price that ultimately ended up being under a 3rd of what the actual cost was. Le Chapel had no printed pricing information for the photographer and the photographer handed me a handwritten price list at my reception! At this point I should also thank my daughter and some of our guests for setting up our reception tables as none of the staff had any clue as to what should be done. On the subject of music, be sure to bring your own, as we were never told exactly what kind of music was available, only that someone would be playing some. The concept is a good one, except they need someone with the time and attention to detail and service to do it.
Vendor response: Kathy we do apologize for the inconvience you felt, however we did fulfill our part of the contract. We were very attentive to your needs. I only answered 150 emails and 100 phone calls and met with you 5 times!!! (LOL) We truly hope that you and Ron have a great life and every bad review you leave only makes us better and not bitter. Have a great day and know we really do love what we do and will be opening a new facility October 2009 to better serve our potential customers. Thank you and best wishes!!!
