Our wedding had many problems due to Foodie (Leon) and his affiliate coordinator Patty from Event Boutique. They caused undue stress to us as the bride and groom, forced us to sign uneccessary 'open-ended' credit card authorizations one week before our wedding or threatened to not perform their contractual duties. They tried to slide in 7% tax for our vendors (that the vendors did not charge them) and also 18% service charge for all our vendors (that also was not charged to them). It was clear from day one of planning that the wedding would end at 10:30pm yet Leon and Patty had their staff break down our tables and chairs while our guests were still sitting at them at 9pm...very tacky! We also overpaid the DJ (on behalf of Event Boutique) and had a clear admission that we would be reimbursed for this $500 over charge from Patty. Three months later we have never heard back from this company about our request for reimbursement. We had a witness when Patty acknowledged owing us this money and that she would have the check in the mail to us the following Monday. We also paid for 80 adults $120 pp and only 65 adults attended our reception dinner, but there were no leftovers packaged for us! This company, Leon and Patty, are crooks and dishonest and do not honor their word. Beware of doing business with either company, Event Boutique or Foodie in Miami!
