We recently hired Gatherings Gourmet for our wedding. After meeting with and contacting over 25 vendors it was not only refreshing to talk to someone who had a wide range and unique food options but their menu also fit within my budget without sacrificing quality. The standard catering company and food options were not what we were looking for, so we are very thankful we came across Gatherings Gourmet. We wanted the food to be a defining component of the evening. We wanted a simple twist on the standard fare and you delivered just that. From our first meeting they met our high expectations. Many catering companies and chefs will not provide a tasting service, however you charged a very fair amount and after one taste we were sold. The food was amazing. Chef Bruno was very forward with all of the costs - there were no hidden or last minute fees. When dealing with wedding vendors I have found it challenging to find someone who was upfront with all of the costs but you didn't have anything to hide and it was refreshing to not worry that you were going to nickel and dime me at the last minute. The Chef's culinary skills were exceptional. We have a very critical palate but all the food exceeded our expectations. The service was also outstanding. From helping us plan our food choices for the evening to helping us with our rentals - everything was great. The day of the event the servers warm smiles and service made our guests feel right at home. It is so much fun to have a house full of the aroma of food and look over to see a Chef and his team preparing the meal you are about to eat - it was very intimate and special. Hiring Gatherings Gourmet was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and we will be using you again. We can't wait to have you cook for a small dinner party and see you again soon. It was an evening for us that we will never forget and the food was a defining component of our evening.
