The Wellwood offers our incredible tented venue for weddings & special event that accomodates guest lists from 75 to 400. Intimate wedding ceremonies can be held with spectacular view of the North East river. We cater to weddings & events of different sizes, budgets & styles. We host 2 restaurant settings: full service dining in the Historic Wellwood features brick outdoor patio seating with live music(in season), intimate dining rooms, fire-side seating (in season)as well as casually comfortable pub seating. Our crab house, The River Shack, features steamed crab specials and fried chicken.

I have been eating crabs all my life and at 55 I can say with authority that Rivershack has the best crabs anywhere, hands down. I have caught my own crabs many times (the best) and being from Bmore I have sampled many establishments from the city to the eastern shore and beyond. The Rivershack has remained the most consistent with the best crabs ever. Between me and my son we can pack away some crabs and have found maybe one or two throwaways per sitting, if that. The all you can eat can't be beat and the chicken on top is the icing to the cake. If you haven't tried the Rivershack you are missing a true treat.
