"Don't hire Elegant Occasions!"

Christine may fool you by her appearance as she did to me. She "looked" very professional, but she was not. I hired her to help me plan my wedding last year and in the beginning she was helpful. I made it known to her what I was looking for, my expectations and how I wanted my wedding to be. She sent me a few vendors and emailed me, but she wouldn't return my emails in a timely manner. At one point in time of my planning process, she told me she was going on vacation, and if I needed her right away, she asked me to leave her a voicemail and she'd return my call. I called her wanting to ask her a question and left a voicemail and she never returned my call. A different time, I had asked her to send me some vendors for a photographer and she told me her fiance was a photographer. I saw a few of his pictures and wasn't really too impressed, so I told her to send me other vendors' info. I think she took that personal because after that she wasn't as friendly. Another time, I had asked her to join me at a florist meeting and she did. I was talking to the florist and we were going over what I wanted, and the florist was giving me ideas, and I told the florist my theme ("Happily Ever After" theme) and Christina mocked me!! Like she was making fun of what I wanted! I was so upset!! After the meeting was over and I was going to leave, I figured she would leave with me because there were other things I wanted to go over with her, and she stayed sitting there. I looked at her like, "aren't you coming?" and she looked back at me, like "what, did you need something else"? Then she told me, oh I'm staying to talk to the florist, you can go. Like she was demanding ME to leave?!? I don't know if at the time I hired her, whether she was well established in her job, but it just became worse. I didn't consider myself a "bridezilla" or anything, but maybe I just expected too much of her (a wedding planner should ber the bride's "assistant" right?). Or maybe I was just to naive... I think she had taken on too many brides at once and couldn't handle it all. She ended up quitting on me half way thru my planning process and totally stressed me out even more! She emailed me telling me she just didn't think she could handle what was expected of her and she quit. It was either that or that we just didn't get along very well. We didn't have the same views. I was in total shock! How professional is that?? How could anyone in the field and in their right mind just tell the bride one day that she can't take it anymore and quit. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I advise to be careful with this company!!
