Jula is absoultely wonderful. We chose the pink champagne cake flavor with raspberry filling and buttercream icing. When we met with her she was nice and down to earth. She did not try to up sell us, she listened to us and gave us honest feedback. The cake was very beautiful needless to say the day of the wedding. The flavors and deocrations on the cake blew everyone away. We were very pleased with our experience. Another really amazing thing is - My husband and I looked over the original design for the cake about 3 days before the wedding. When we did we thought of some more meaningful things that we wanted incorporated. For instance- at 1st we chose a simple scrolling pattern for an enitre tier of the cake. But the more we looked at the concept and thought about it, the more we wanted something more original and meaningful then some generic scrollwork. And so the point emerges- we called Jula literally days before the wedding and told her there were some elements that we wanted to see changed, and you know what? She was totally fine with it- we even had chosen Celtic knotwork, an extremely difficult design element even to DRAW let alone pipe on a cake. The cake was stunning- she told us she would do her best and find something that would suit the cake's shape (hexagon) and the theme, and boy were were excited not only that 1.) the final design of that teir would be a mystery until the day of and 2.) IT was STUNNING!! I wish I could post a picture... Anyway- I would recommend anyone to go to Jula. She is an honest businesswoman, a gifted baker, and was a pleasure to work with.
