Unprofessional. Every time I called the number I was given, a man answered and I was given a different phone number to call. Hard to get a hold of. Sandra, the owner and baker of Noemi's Cake Factory had a website which is no longer up. I picked a wedding cake from her gallery of cakes she had made before. The cake I got was OK but was not the cake I had ordered. It looked half decorated. Almost as if she got tired halfway through. It was supposed to have rounded edges and it did not. It was also supposed to have pink fondant flowers all over it and there were none. Also I was not happy with the cake topper. When I asked her how many flowers I would need to duplicate what was in the picture she said about 20 but the cake topper I paid extra for only had 5 flowers. I found the reviews on this site after I had paid in full and I was worried she would not show up and so I called and my maid of honor called to verify the time she was to drop off the cake about four times the week before the wedding. At least it was there! However my venue owner later told me that she called to ask what time she could be there to drop the cake off and came earlier than expected. The lady that owned the B&B where I was getting married was nice enough to let her come early but I wonder what would have happened had she not been allowed to come early. Nothing could have ruined my wedding day, it was still the happiest day of my life! But if you want to make sure you get the exact cake you ordered I would think twice before booking a cake with Noemi's Cake Factory!

This woman needs to close her business. I work at a very well known hotel & had ordered a cake for an anniversary party. THE DAY OF THE EVENT the owner called & left a message that she hadn't received a deposit and therefore would not be delivering a cake, (did I mention her message was left at the time she was supposed to be here!) A deposit was never discussed when I ordered the cake. After getting in touch with her an hour after her message she basically stated it was too late for us to get a cake from her but offered to come to the hotel and decorate a cake for us if we provided a basic white cake. SHE NEVER SHOWED UP and would not answer our calls. She left us high & dry. I can assure you if the topic of cakes ever comes up in my industry I won't hesitate to make sure everyone hears of our experience with this woman.

The owner of this business was supposed to have a birthday cake delivered to my friends house no later than 12. Only after my friend decided to call her(at 12:30), did she first get in contact with my friend on cake delivery day! Promised to my friend she was leaving right then, only to have the same issue again at a little after 3:00!!! My FRIEND once again calling, and NOT the owner, only to have the owner(Sandra Santibanez) tell her "I'm on I-35 (about 12 minutes from Arlington) in Horrible traffic" Then after a discussion, then told my friend she would not be bringing her the refund deposit she wanted back and rudely hung up on my friend! In my opinion and many others, this is VERY unproffesional of a business owner! Due to this incident, my friend is now taking action to make sure this doesnt happen to you!! She is checking into the accounting portion of this business, seeing as how the actual place where the OWNER makes cakes is a friends house, according to the man who answers her business phone!!!! I hope you dont waste your time with this "business" or else you could forever have bad memories of your special event, such as my friend!!!

My time with Sandra(owner) up until my event was succesful, however on the day of my event, I was told she would be leaving from her Haslet location(which is actually her house, with her child and husband answering the business phone on off duty days at 11:00 am. My daughters 3rd birthday party would be held in Arlington at 1:00. Not a hard location to find!!! Haslet, being on the other side of Fort Worth would take at the most an hour and a half, but according to the now not so professional Sandra(at 3:15) that there was horrible traffic(on a Saturday early afternoon)!! Although we had just spoke to her husband minutes before, and he proceeded to say , "Oh she left about 40 minutes ago"!!!! So if I do my math correctly She left at 2:30, an hour and a half after my party started! (speaking to her the first time at 12:30 when she said she was leaving right then), and people were now leaving!!! I then got hung up on, because I wanted my $80.00 deposit back and I wanted it the day I was supposed to have my cake!!! So here I am , out $35.00 because I had to put a hold on the check that Sandra recieved and I quote, " I will not be driving all the way out there if your not buying my cake, so no, you will not be getting the $80.00 from me", and then click, our conversation was over!!!! I really hope that you have taken the time to read my story, and will not put this womans "business" in mind when selecting a cake for your next important event!!! She is by the way being investigated for tax fraud!!
