Ordered cup cakes for graduation dinner. This bakery didn't have the order ready and didn't know what happened to the order. I had agreed on 2 colors for icing. Not what I asked for once that did a rush job to get the cup cakes ready. Cupcakes were boxed so they wouldn't slide around, in little holes and we could not get the cup cakes out without destroying the cakes. The butter icing was everywhere. Will never go back. We were all very disappointed.

We purchased a custom birthday cake. While it is better than what is available in local grocery stores, it still wasn't very good and we won't be purchasing another. The frosting was too sweet and without flavor, the cake was incredibly dense and flour-tasting - it reminded me of a heavy shortbread - , and the pre-made decorations (like what you can buy in the grocery store) were pretty gross. The people working here, I think it is a 2-woman operation - are incredibly nice and really doing the best job they can, but the quality of the cake just isn't what it should be for the money -- or for one that is custom made. We ended up throwing most of ours away. I think we'll go back to getting cakes in Chapel Hill or Carrboro.
