Maylene was able to re-create a castle cake I saw at Harrods in London. She exceeded all expectations! Not only was my Son's cake the most beautiful cake I've ever seen, it tasted even better. Her red velvet cake was so moist and the cream cheese icing was to die for. We are still amazed by the photos. Thank you Maylene!

Maylene is very professional, warm and friendly. We found her online locally and fell in love with her cake styles. When we went to meet her to go over all the specifics along with having the cake testing, she was accommodating and worked within our budget. The combinations she chose were surprising light, which was exactly what I wanted for my morning wedding. My husband's favorite is the lemon on lemon, where mine is the chocolate with chocolate moose. The detail and professionalism she executes is perfect. All my guests at the wedding did not believe that the cake was real! Anytime I had a question or change, she responded quickly. The cost of her cake is well priced for the quality you receive. I would recommend her to anyone that I knew that was having any type of event.

WOW!!!! The 50th Birhtday GOLF cake was not only absolutely adorable and exactly what I wanted but absolutely delicious. Maylene totally exceeded my expectations. The chocolate cake with the hazelnut filling was to die for!!! And the vanilla was unbelievable!!! My boyfriend and guests not only enjoyed the cake but loved the decorations. Maylene will be making all my future special occasion cakes!!! Thank you so much!!!

The cake was beautiful but too sweet and rich and the filling was wrong.

We absolutely loved the cake. Sponge Bob was so detailed and perfect. I was blown away. My son loved it and wanted to eat it right away. Not only was the cake a work of art, it was down right delicious. I recommend Cakes by May to all of my friends.

Thank you Maylene for such a wonderful cake. I had a surprise birthday for my husband, and wanted something masculine and elegant at the same time. She did exactly what I wanted it was beautiful and not to mention the taste it was pineapple with pineapple filling just delicious!!! My husband loved it!! Thank you once again.

Not only did our cake steal the show at our wedding it's taste was out of this world as well. Maylene is was really great in helping us figure out what sort of style we really wanted. Our cakes were ready as promised and the whole process was totally stress free. Thanks Maylene Lindsey and Shannon Gudger P.S. - The white chocolate ganache is out of control good.

Maylene is very professional and was such a pleasure to work with. My daughter Alexa's Sweet 16 Mardi Gras cake was spectacular!! Maylene exceded all of my expectations. Maylene was extreme nice to work with and she captured our style in the cupckes we envsioned. All we got was complement after complement. I almost didn't want to eat mine because it felt i was eating a piece of art. I'm glad i did though! They were not only amazing to look at they were delicious!

Cakes by Maylene - I had the best experience with Maylene...and will work with her every time I need a special cake for a special event. She is very intuitive and creative when creating a piece of art for your event. She knew what I needed for my mother's 90th birthday party before I did! The cake was absolutely beautiful, tasted delicious, and she was incredibly professional, which I believe is very important. She also delivered a coordinating cake board, which was as beautiful as the cake itself. I would recommend her work to anyone! She is also a wonderfully, warm person whom I bonded with instantly. I can't say enough about her...she's great, and is a true artist!

May is not only a pleasure to work with, but kind, gentle, attentive and prepared the most amazing wedding and grooms cake for our wedding. We had a vision and May made it come true on our wedding day. We met a couple times and exchanged several emails. When we walked into our reception all eyes went to our four tier Burgundy and Gold wedding cake and Florida Gators grooms cake. Not only were they beautiful but delicious. Thank you for everything May..we cannot wait to enjoy our top tier a year from now!
