This review is on VOILA, NOT on Jill. I have not had experience with Jill, as she just left this salon. I had an appt with her today and never got to see her. She may be great...but here was my very negative experience with the Spa owner Alina today: I will attach the link to the Groupon I purchased to re-read after you have read my issue. I purchased this Groupon, and was frustrated at how long it took to book the actual appt. They never answer their phones and didn't return my 1st message...only my 2nd message which was very frustrated. When I FINALLY got in touch with them they booked my 2 facials on 12/1 (today) and 12/22. Not ideal, but all I could get in before the groupon expires after they didn't call back for so long. I showed up today at the spa and they had no record of my appt...the owner was working the front desk and she says that this is because the Esthetician I was scheduled with has left the company. My initial thought was why didn't Voila call me?...and my next thought was, well, who else is available? After all this Groupon CLEARLY states that I purchased it from VOILA SALON & SPA! They must have other estheticians. It does not AT ALL reference that I am buying it from a solo-practicing Esthetician that could leave and I would be required to follow. Please re-read the Groupon and see! I bought this for the spa experience as the spa looked neat and it was the SPA advertised in the Groupon even MORE SO than the facials. The owner proceeded to tell me that I didn't buy ANYTHING from Voila. She said that Groupon just "used her location" for this esthetician that wanted to use Groupon. I was obviously frustrated that I drove from S. Denver....but what floored me was the apathy, lack of professionalism, condescending tone, and rude comments I then received from the owner! She basically told me to "take a hike" and that there was nothing else she could do for me. She insisted that I DID NOT purchase a Groupon from Voila Salon Spa, that I purchased one from "Jill Humphrey the Esthetician"...and this was not at all her responsibility. Even though if you read the Groupon that is not at all what was advertised. HER spa was advertised. She spoke to me like I was a child, she insulted me for believing I bought ANYTHING from her and she brought me to tears. She even told me I could "go home tonight and cry about it." PS- Her name is Alina. At this point I feel like the whole thing is a scam. I am out $65, the Groupon expires in 4 wks, and I have a company name ALL OVER THIS GROUPON that claims they didn't sell me anything. I have been seeing Jill for about a year now. I followed her when she moved to Voila in downtown Denver and could not be more delighted about it. Not only do I get to continue receiving my fabulous facials (which take care of my skin and also totally relax me!) with Jill but I get to enjoy the beautiful architecture of Voila.

I have been to several skin care facilities over the years, and have not been overly impressed. SkinWorks was recommended to me by a friend, and I could not have been more pleased. The feel of the clinic is like no other that I have been to. The staff there was very professional and addressed my needs and concerns. I went in for a microderm, and had a wonderful treatment. I don't recall the name of the machine used, but do know that it was some sort of medical grade machine. I have never received the same results from any other microderm service. I would definitely recommend this facility, and will be back!
