Seasoned photographers will show you their "book," or portfolio of their best work while you discuss their experience and style. Beware any photographer that does not have a portfolio to show you, as they may be inexperienced or too disorganized for the job. Selecting the right photographer to document your day is one of the most important decisions you'll make, so always remember to get a comprehensive contract in writing!
